As a child of the 80s, I will never forget the feeling of walking into a crowded arcade -- the sounds, smells, excitement, etc. This page is dedicated to recreating the audio portion of that experience in the form of a long, non-looping ambient audio track.

Jeff Shanholtz (TheShanMan from the BYOAC forums) has created a nifty little application for playing sound files on separate audio cards -- the perfect way to play the arcade ambience files on an arcade cabinet! At long last I have completed the 4th and final volume of Arcade Ambience -- an early nineties edition (1992). This is the first volume to include pinball audio. Check the downloads section for links and the introduction for games list. |
